After glorious holiday, tell younger but bossier sister that I am going to go a year without buying any new clothes. When bossy sister finally stops laughing, asks when I last bought something. "Um, February 6. At the Duty Free. Got a T-Shirt. No, wait, February 7 had to go into town on errand for sexy guy. Bought a new top. Oh, wait, February 9, bought a jacket. On the ferry, no less." Yes, it has been a grand total of 17 days. 348 days to go....darn Leap Year!!
